The first 6 jets arrived in mid April, and began flying local missions the next day. I forget exactly which squadrons are here, but I remember seeing 326Sq and 306Sq. I don't know if anyone knows what exactly is going on with the 178FW right now. They are currently being trained to maintain the Dutch jets, but the jets are being flown by Dutch IPs and students. Other countries will be coming in the near future.

Thanks Jake, but no squadron in the KLu is 326th ;-)!! I believe that they left Volkel AB where 306th, 311th and 312th are based.

Greetings,

Henrik.

Ooops. :oops: Shows how much I know about the European units! I was going from memory, so I apologize for the mistake.

Bjorn, I've been out to the base to shoot the jets already. I'll upload them when I get the chance.

No apologies, Jake - thanks for Your information.

A little more has come to my attention regarding this transfer.

The first six KLu aircraft left Leeuwarden AB for Springfield-Beckley MAP, OH on Apr. 16th 2007 were;

F-16AMs - [serial]J-010[/serial] (322 Sq marks), [serial]J-367[/serial] (322 Sq Marks), [serial]J-623[/serial] (323 Sq marks).
F-16BMs - [serial]J 208[/serial] (322 Sq marks), [serial]J-209[/serial] (323 Sq marks), [serial]J-369[/serial] (322 Sq marks).

[serial]J-369[/serial] was replacing [serial]J-882[/serial] which had a ground abort.

Around June 25th 2007 another batch of aircraft will transfer to Springfield MAP comprising;

F-16AMs - [serial]J-145[/serial], [serial]J-510[/serial], [serial]J-620[/serial].
F-16BM - [serial]J-064[/serial].

In late September the following are expected to transfer;

F-16AMs - [serial]J-514[/serial], [serial]J-647[/serial] - [serial]J-870[/serial].
F-16BM - [serial]J-067[/serial].

A total of 14 aircraft - nine F-16AMs and five F-16BMs - will be operated by 306 Sq at Springfield MAP when transfers are complete.

Greetings,

Henrik.

Hello jake,

Splendid pictures of the Dutch in Springfield.

Question:
The first and the last has been taken in Holland I think, for the J-882 had a ground abort and the J-010 here is wearing his 306 Sqn Badge.

If I should be wrong please tell me.
Thanks

Ok Jake thanks for the reply but...

Is there anyone who can help me?

Dutch Viper left Holland to Springfield with the 322 Squadron Badge
and in Springfield wearing the 306 Sqn badge;

Dutch Viper J-882 should not have been left Holland for reason: groundabort
But there exists a pic of the J-882 taken in Springfield OH and with 306 Sqn.
If the J-882 has been flown to Springf. when did this happen?

How come?

hello specialists,
The F-16 Serials Database shows all the Dutch F-16s at Springfield OH.
This database does not mention the Serial [serial]81-0882[/serial] (J-882)

B U T :
In the Forum>general>A Dutch FTU in Springfield OH?
Milhouse posted july 25 th 2007 the following:

[serial]J-882[/serial] and [serial]J-510[/serial] [serial]J-145[/serial] ARRIVED IN LATE JUNE AT SPRINGFIELD.

Has the [serial]J-882[/serial] been stationed at Springfield with 306 Squadron or has not?

Thanks for your solution
