There are internet rumors of 137 US dead after an attack at the Shorak airbase in Afghanistan. Can anyone confirm or debunk this?

No that is why I am asking. There are reports of an attack at Shorak on Friday. I am not sure if this is just Taliban propaganda from that attack or if this has happened since.

There are regular claims of attacks on the 209 shaheen in the Balkh region, which is where Shorak is located. The insurgents regularly claim 10 times the numbers of casualties than they have in reality. And although they always claim huge U.S. losses with each attack, the numbers are usually able to be tallied on one hand.

No that is why I am asking. There are reports of an attack at Shorak on Friday. I am not sure if this is just Taliban propaganda from that attack or if this has happened since.

If, true it would have been all over the major news networks in the WEST. Like BBC, CNN, FOX NEWS, etc. etc. etc.
