Lockheed Martin selects IFS applications for F-35 JSF Supply Chain Management

IFS Applications has been selected by Lockheed Martin for local supply chain management on the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) program Autonomic Logistic Information System (ALIS).
Within the F-35 aircraft system design, ALIS is the information backbone that provides core functionality for in-service operations. As part of its ongoing objective to provide a lowest-cost supply chain management (SCM) service, the Lockheed Martin LM project team has decided to extend the IFS footprint in ALIS to cover both enterprise resource management (ERM) and SCM with one package-IFS Applications.
IFS Applications is now deeply involved in ALIS, having previously been selected for the management of support equipment in a separate selection exercise.
"This recent additional selection on the JSF program reinforces IFS Defense's position as a strategic supplier to Lockheed Martin, which has also chosen IFS Applications for the UK MOD JAMES project," said IFS Defense CEO Simon Dowler.
