Pratt & Whitney Eagle Services Awarded Major Engine OverhaulContract By U.S.

May 3, 1998 (by Lieven Dewitte) - Pratt & Whitney Eagle Services has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Air Force valued at $453. 3 million for the continued overhaul and repair of F-15 and F-16 fighter engines. The contract, awarded to Eagle Services' subsidiary, Pratt & Whitney-San Antonio, provides for scheduled and unscheduled depot maintenance of theF100-PW-229 engine fan, core, high-pressure turbine and low-pressure turbine modules.
