Two F-16 fighter jets belonging to the South Carolina Air National Guard crashed above a military operating area near Jefferson County, Georgia. Both pilots of each of the single-seat aircraft ejected safely.

Another Swamp Fox first, combined training with Polish Air Force

The South Carolina Air National Guard's 169th Fighter Wing sent more than 100 Airmen and a contingent of F-16s to Łask Air Base to train with the Polish Air Force's 32nd Tactical Air Wing and the 52nd Fighter Wing's 480th Fighter Squadron from Spangdahlem, Germany in June.

Nearly 200 Airmen and more than a dozen Block 52 F-16 Fighting Falcon jets traveled across the country to train with the U.S. Navy Carrier Air Wing One (CVW 1) who is preparing for an upcoming deployment aboard Aircraft Carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt next spring.
