Landed at Homestead AFB for my very first assignment. This of course was after basic at Lackland, Training at Sheppard, and FTD at Nellis. Time well spent at Homestead, met a lot of great people and it was an awesome place to be. TDY's were great too. Got orders to "The Kun" Kunsan AB a while afterward. Just being in a different country was cool! But the new friends I made there, and the old ones who also came from Homestead, made it even better. The last TDY was to the P.I (Clark) right before the volcano (Mt. Pinatubo) blew.
