Current or Favourite assignmenti think it was a combination of the people and being stationed in Germany. Even as I think back twenty years ago This particular group matters most to me.We were a family then and now.I will never forget all the faces of the people I served with in Desert Storm.Deploymentsdesert shield, desert storm, zaragoza and incirlik ab. tyndal and eglin afb. red flag ,green flag. |

Great Airplane. Brought it through transfer. block 42 pw engine. the only assignment where I was always living ouside the base. almost got shot a couple of times.Only in Las Vegas could you go from the quiet of the desert to the insanity of the strip. It was always hot. | ||||||

First time I saw this aircraft it was a cann bird . It had 80pages of write-ups. Took two weeks to get if back together. It had birdcrap and dust on it. | ||||||

this was a great airplane the Dcc was a great guy. I was back home. The ANG was the biggest circus I ever worked for. Lots of good people.This unit was really messed up. The biggest screwups got the most promotions. I just could not take all the politics. That is one reason I bailed out. This unit has someof the biggest screwups I have ever seen in my military career. But they were a good bunch of people overall. Some of are more important to me than my family |

I was the DCC on this jet in 1990 until I made Msgt and became the flight chief of Baker Flight....Hahn AB, Fightin' 10th.
I remember the jet as being a high flyer in the squadron...very dependable and yes, an accurate bomber. This was the last jet I crewed in the AF and probably 2nd favorite. !st favorite was the F-4E I crewed at Ramstein...68-480....another high flyer!
