I've had a great career, seen a lot of places and made a lot of great friends. It's interesting that no matter how bad the deployment, there was always good friends to have a cold beer or play cards with.

Deployments

I've pretty much been involved in every operation in the last 20+ years. Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Southern Watch, Northern Watch, Deny Flight, Deliberate Force, Desert Fox, Iraqi Freedom, Noble Eagle, Allied Force (actually Allied Vacation at Bandirma, Turkey). And can't forget the Flags (Red, Green, Maple), Archer, Hammer, WIC...more TDY's than I can count.

My final D-model. Hardly crewed it at all. Became an expeditor in 2001. Moved to 20 MXG QA in 2005, started as Weight and Balance Manager, became Chief Inspector. Left QA in 2008, deployed with the 55 FS to Balad and served as the flight chief for the phase dock. In 2009 became a Production Super for the Fighting Fifty-fifth.

Period 2010 - 2013
Served as the Superintendent of Acquisitions for the F-35 JSF program at HQ AETC in Randolph AFB, TX.
