Had the pleasure of crewing 78-066 straight from the factory (aaaaaaaahhhhhhh that new aircraft smell). Lots of great TDYS one of the best was getting stranded in San Diego, we went there to get away from the fog that had settled in the Valley for a long time.

TDY to Nellis and 048 was slated as a spare, last minute replacement. We were all at the red line watching the jets come in and we all watched as 048 settled down with no gear on centerline tank, then watch as she got airborne again turned towards Sunrise Mountain next we saw a chute and watched as she nosed into the ground what a way to start a TDY

Bob,
I worked with you on the Cockroach. I performed and signed your Avionics Acceptance Inspection. I worked both locations. At MacDill you were in Red and I was in Black (72nd) and then went to Kunsan in 88. Looks like you were at Luke when I was at Homestead and then we were both at Luke.
Did you ever get a 63rd ink print?
