Started out on B52H 61-023 (known for loseing its tail fin during a test flight with Boeing piolts), got tired of pushing snow up at KI Sawyer AFB MI. Cross trained to fighters got a assingment to Hill AFB UT became a Fightn Fuujin, worked on F 4D's until we converted to F-16s got the pleasure of crewing 78-066 straight from the factory (aaaaaaaahhhhhhh that new aircraft smell) then 048. Selected to be part of the Bomb Comp team 362 in Lossiemouth Scotland, After that got hand selected to become part of research and development of 117A crewed # 2 Aircraft in AF inventory the Lady 788. MAcDill AFB F 16 again 523, Kunsan expediator back to MacDill expediator and QA, selected to become Air Force Advisor to Iowa Air National guard RET now.

Crewed B52H 61-023 noted for losing its vertical tail over the Rocky Mountains, when I PCSed she had under 2000 flight hours still a baby BUFF

Had the pleasure of crewing 78-066 straight from the factory (aaaaaaaahhhhhhh that new aircraft smell). Lots of great TDYS one of the best was getting stranded in San Diego, we went there to get away from the fog that had settled in the Valley for a long time.

Current: 78048   USAF 4 TFS F-16A Block 5 [ w/o]
TDY to Nellis and 048 was slated as a spare, last minute replacement. We were all at the red line watching the jets come in and we all watched as 048 settled down with no gear on centerline tank, then watch as she got airborne again turned towards Sunrise Mountain next we saw a chute and watched as she nosed into the ground what a way to start a TDY

Unit 4450th TG GOATSUCKERS
Period 1982 - 1986
Research and development of the F117A crewed 80-788 second operational fighter in the Air Force went to factory and final assembley. Wore the heck out of my blue jeans and Hawaiian shirts Member of "Goatsucker Inn where the Elete MEET"

Crewed 523 for about a year then went to QA not my most favorite job,

Current: 86333   USAF 119 FS F-16C Block 30 [ act]
Crewed 333 for a few months then stepped into expediter truck day shift, had a ball chasing pheasants along the taxi ways and around arches. Went and bought pizzas (picked up with expeditator truck) for the Crew Dawgs during the ORI and got away with it.

Period 1993 - 1998
Served as the Air Force Techinical Advisor to the Iowa National Guard, got me ready for retirement : )

Bob,

I worked with you on the Cockroach. I performed and signed your Avionics Acceptance Inspection. I worked both locations. At MacDill you were in Red and I was in Black (72nd) and then went to Kunsan in 88. Looks like you were at Luke when I was at Homestead and then we were both at Luke.

Did you ever get a 63rd ink print?

Hi Bob,

Worked with you at Hill on the old F-4's..........then caught up with you at Nellis when you were with the black jet..........I ended up as the AMU chief for the 416th at TTR for almost 4 years......
