I worked as a crewchief with the 313 'Tiger' Squadron. Later I worked there as the safety NCO.
In 2007 & 2008 I was the safety advisor of the Volkel F16 solo display team.
Well: at the 1th of July 2008 I started as QA (BTO-VOa) at Leeuwarden!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Current or Favourite assignment

313 Squadron is the only Dutch Tiger squadron and that makes it very special!!

This aircraft had only 7.2 flight hours when I became the crewchief of this jet!! I left it "behind" at Villa Franca Italy, during the Bosnia-war in 1993.

I was the crewchief from this jet, also in 1994 when "we" (313 sqn) did the solo display. Great plane.

The special tail (tiger ofcourse) was used for the Tigermeet at Fairford and was also on the cover of the latest Breitlingfolder in the late 90's. The serialnumber was on the fuselage, with the name of the crewchief...........
Other aircraft/assignments I worked also on the NF5 from 1981 till 1989 at Twenthe AFB.
In 1992 I started with some other crewchiefs the "Mig Restore Team Twenthe". About 6 MiG-21 planes we restored in the Netherlands. In 2004/2005 I worked as the supervisor with with the PAF (Project Afstoting F16; dismanteling the older OCU F16's) at Soesterberg.

volgens mij heb ik een foto van u terwijl u opstijgt Op de F16 staat j - 230 met daaronder uw naam. Deze foto kreeg ik gister in mijn bezit van iemand die op Camp New Amsterdam werkt. Mocht u interesse hebben dan hoor ik dat graag.
