| Started out crewing T-37s at Williams AFB 1977-1981 then moved to Hill in 1981. Crewed 78-0001, 78-0024, 78-0106 among others in the 34th and 16th. Was the Wolf Pack commander's crew chief in Kunsan 1983-1984, tail # 81-0708. Left the F-16 world for Cannon, crewing F-111Ds including 68-0103, 68-0106 and 68-0166. Expedited, assistant flight chiefed, turned into a squadron staff weenie (squadron training NCO during the initiation of Rivet Workforce - ugh). The AFSCs changed, we won the Cold War, and I was locked onto a disappearing airframe, so I got caught up in the retraining whirl and turned into a Cardiopulmonary Lab tech. Now I'm retired and doing respiratory therapy for a living. I do miss the smell of burning jet fuel in the morning... | ||
