Crewed F-16 at Macdill until Dec 89. 63rd AMU, TA crash recovery then on to the the F117 at Tonopah RnR shop/ crash recovery. After that on to Shaw AFB crash recovery. Then I decided to try something else. I retrained and became a boom operator on the KC-135E then R. After 16 yeaers of AF BS I left the military and got what they call a real job. Yea, that sucks, I loved the AF and the F-16. I just didn't know it at the time. I would rather be doing a FOD walk right now with guys I trust then sitting at my "real job"listening to some slacker whine about how tough he has it. sorry had to vent a little.
Current or Favourite assignmentCrewin F-16's in the paradise known as Macdill AFB, it was like a big college campus. Then again that was 15 years ago, things were different then.DeploymentsDessert Storm twice and way too many to list as a boom. |
