Started crewing F-16's in April, 1994 at 306 TFRS, Airbase Volkel. My first a/c was the J-649, which I crewed until November 1998. After that I became crewchief of the J-065 until November 1999. I left Volkel Airbase to continue my career at the 322 Sqn at Leeuwarden Airbase. The first months I did crew several F-16's but did not have my 'own' F-16. March 2000 I crewed the J-013 until mid 2002, after that I didn't have my own F-16. In 2005 the J-628 landed at Leeuwarden Airbase which became my F-16 and still is mine.
DeploymentsVillafranca in 1998, Amendola 1999 (Deliberate Force)RD Congo in 2008 (mission EUSEC FIN, no F-16's around) and 2010 (mission EUSEC SSR, again no F-16's around) |
