I started out crewing F-15's in the Florida Air National Guard (125th FW) Moved back to Michigan and joined the 127th Wing where my father once was a Crew Chief on F-100's and A-7's. I have been on almost every deployment this Unit has been on since I joined. I throughly enjoyed working on the F-15's but a special place in my heart for the F-16. I did spend time on 86-1573 D Model as a second wipe. This Aircraft has treated me well and I used to claim the second cleanest Falcon on our ramp (See John Manning 85-1498 he had the cleanest) Many great times and deployments with that jet and great people as well. Now our unit is the owner of 26 Not so wonderful A-10C's I get along now away from the flightline in the MOC as the Lead Production Controller. I just couldnt change airframes again. I love where I am now and wouldnt change it for the world.

OSW PSAB Airbase Saudi Arabia 2001 (We were there during the attacks on US in Sept 11 2001)
ONW Incerlik Airbase Turkey 2003 (We dropped the first bombs on Iraq right before the war kicked off)
OIF 2004 Kirkuk Regional Airbase Kirkuk Iraq (The first F-16 Unit in country)
