This was the second aircraft to carry the Sabre One nose art. It is the commanders aircraft marked 10 TFS and was seen at the 1991 Paris air show. The art was applied to this aircraft for the Paris show because the first aircraft to receive the markings, 84-1315, was being prepared to go to the 163rd FS. Charles Arroyo was the artist drew both nose art with colored grease pencils. MSGT Charles Arroyo advises one can tell the difference in the nose art by how far the cloak comes down the panel. On aircraft 84-1310 the cloak came to the bottom of the aircraft panel. This aircraft was unable to deploy for Desert Storm.

This nose art is different then the Desert Storm nose art applied to this aircraft earlier in its history.
84281 USAF 113 TFS 84-1281 "Hammer Time" Sep 1991 Details
"Hammer Time" nose art was kept from previous unit the 33rd TFS. The 113th attempted to preserve it but it did not last well in the sun. An attempt was even made to repaint it right onto the aircraft instead of using grease pencils which were originally used.
85552 USAF 149 FS 85-1552 "Bear Necessities" Oct 1991 Details
The nose-art was painted by the wife of the pilot, Lt.Col Bill (William) Campenni. The drawing was a panda bear with a bomb under one arm and an AIM-9 missile under the other, with smaller details of a honey jar and bee. The pilot, Lt. Col. Bill Campenni always carried along a scraggly stuffed panda bear for 20 years and over 3,000 hours. Both bear and pilot are now in retirement in Virginia.
