Details

First loss from this country. Lost 46 miles north of Bahrain over the Gulf at night. It is thought that Lieutenant Colonel Abdulaziz Snan Al Dossary became disorientated during manoeuvres.

RBAF F-16 losses

RBAF have lost 3 F-16s....the first is listed here. Another was shot down mistakenly by Royal Saudi air defence by a Patriot missile at the end of 2015. And the most recent one, in 2023 a F-16 landed with the aircraft on fire. The pilot survived, but the aircraft was burnt to ashes.
