OMG a 'BUS'!! Thats all I could think when I got my new Block 50 'D' Model aircraft. Anywho we did an Exercise at Biggs Army Airfield in El Paso TX. We were giving out incentive rides to 'people'......note that I didn't say 'OUR' people. The only catch was we had no 'spare' aircraft... if you took a ride, it was acombat mission during exercises against all other forms of aircraft, F-14, F-15, F-117, F-18, etc. A rough and tough PJ got blessed in my Bus. When marshalling my viper back into postion I hooked up the comm cord and asked the pilot how she flew, the response I got back was..."Just take care of the back seater chief I got my own gear..." Oooook. So I pullled a scissor stand up and climbed up to assist the PJ with his gear. His head was leaning agianst the rail. He didn't move. After ten full minutes he moved enough to raise his head. Another five minutes he moved enough to hand me the four bags of lunch he lost......in vain. I stepped back threw my hands up and said "Put em in your bag buddy". Another five minutes or so and he started to climb out. As he grabbed the rail and put his feet on the stand his legs gave and down he went to a kneel. Finally we got him down and he hobbled into the building with the patiently awaiting pilot. Seems full combat flying is not for him. *wink*

I started out as the second wipe on 841 then worked my way up the ladder to become the DCC. I kept it looking good since it was 1 of two non have-glass jets on OT side. It was a code 1 jet as long as avionics didn't hang a fuckin pod off of it.
