I entered the Air Force in 1998 and I have been an F-16 crew chief since. My first squardon was the 310th FS (before we went to AMU's). After a couple of years on the Flight Line, I went to phase and recieved my assignment to Kunsan AB Korea. After a "GREAT" year I came back to Luke and spent some time in phase and just recently PCAed into the 309th AMU.

When I was first assigned this acft it was no where to be found, later on I found out that it's 341 bulkhead was cracked. It was down for about 6 months or so. As soon as it was fixed and everything was said and done it flew for its FCF flight and landed code 1. It was a great flying jet and then it went CANN and it was then known as one of the dirty sisters (other acft was a9159)
89055 [Detailed history of this F-16]
Unit 35th Fighter Squadron "Pantons" [Unit History]
Period 2002 - 2003
Current: 89055  35 FS F-16C Block 40 Sep 2001 [act]
This jet hated to be cleaned. If I cleaned it would break hard (ie. hair line crack in the PDU, motor pull at least once a week, flt controls as to where AFETS had to be involved). A couple of months after I left the ROK, the left brake caught fire at EOR and the whole left side was on fire. After months of being repaired its still flying around.

The dirty sister

I crewed 8159 from 97-99 and I was always in trouble for my dirty bitch. I loved her and she flew great every flight-unless I cleaned her up-then it was code 2's and 3's for a while.
