Air Force Academy, Class of 1996 1997-1998: F-16 Replacement training in the 63rd Fighter Squadron at Luke AFB; 1998-2000: Flew the F-16CG operationally in the 69th Fighter Squadron at Moody AFB; while at Moody AFB, he was deployed for combat operations over Iraq in Operation Southern Watch (OSW); In 2000, transferred to Hill AFB as part of the 421st Fighter Squadron; while at Hill AFB he upgraded to Instructor Pilot (IP) in the F-16CG and was a Flight Commander for the last year of his assignment; In 2003 he was deployed to Qatar for Operation Iraq Freedom (OIF); In 2004, he was selected to attend the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) and USAF Test Pilot School (TPS) Program; In June 2006, he graduated from TPS as an Experimental Test Pilot and, in September 2006, received his Masters Degree in Computer Science from AFIT; Following AFIT /TPS he was assigned to the 416th Flight Test Squadron at Edwards AFB where he currently flight tests the F-16 and serves as Assistant Director of Operations. |
