F-15 and F-16 midair collision

An F-15C Eagle from Langley AFB, Virginia while on deployment to Eielson AFB collided in midair at 11.23h with an F-16C also on deployment from Nellis AFB, Nevada.
An unarmed missile fell off of a Vermont Air National Guard F-16 as it was taking off early Monday afternoon at Burlington International Airport.
An F-16 block 40 crashed in Konya province in central Turkey on Tuesday, but the pilot of the plane safely ejected before the crash, the semi-official Anatolian news agency reported.

Flare from F-16 ignites wildfire

A wildfire has started after an F-16 from the New Jersey ANG dropped a flare during a routine training sortie over the Warren Grove Gunnery Range in Ocean County. The resulting fire has forced thousands to flee the area.
An F-16 of the USAF Thunderbirds experienced a birdstrike while performing at the Barksdale Air Force Base air show last Saturday. The aircraft landed safely and there were no injuries.
Air Force officials completed an investigation of the F-16 Fighting Falcon accident 20 miles northwest of Baghdad Nov. 27, which resulted in the death of the F-16's pilot, Maj. Troy Gilbert.
A 2nd F-16 crashed on Monday 12th, this time on the Southern Nevada training range, Nellis Air Force Base officials said Tuesday. The pilot is reported to have safely ejected.
An Air Force Reserve F-16 pilot from 93rd "Makos" FS at Homestead was forced to eject after experiencing a mechanical problem and parachuted safely into the waters off the Florida Keys.
Poor maintenance caused the crash of a ROKAF F-16 off the west coast last month, the South Korean Air Force said Monday.

Today around 18.45h a RNlAF F-16 made a planned belly landing at Leeuwarden Air Base after it became apparent that the wheel from the front landing gear was missing.

USAF completes F-16 accident investigation

U.S. Air Force officials completed an investigation of the F-16 block 25 accident at Luke Air Force Base, Ariz. Oct. 26, 2006, which resulted in the loss of the 56th Fighter Wing aircraft.

F-16 crashes in California, pilot safe

A California Air National Guard F-16C crashed today near Owens Lake in remote eastern California, but the pilot safely ejected and was not hurt.
An investigation into September's F-16 crash near Spangdahlem Air Base has blamed the accident on pilot error.

Misawa F-16s stop dropping dummy bombs

F-16 fighter jets at this northern Japan base have stopped dropping dummy bombs after a 25-pound inert munition fell off a jet Wednesday night as it landed.
