A Shaw AFB F-16 pilot from the 55th Fighter Squadron safely ejected prior to the aircraft impacting the ground here Nov. 19 at 3 p.m.

ANG F-16 crashes, pilot safely ejects

An Indiana Air National Guard F-16 from the 181st Fighter Wing, crashed Nov. 17 at 2:40 p.m. in a remote area of the Jefferson Proving Ground near Madison, Indiana.

Hill AFB pilot killed in F-16 crash

Thursday, November 12, 1998
The pilot of an F-16 was killed when the aircraft crashed at the north portion of the Utah Test and Training Range at 3 p.m. Nov. 9.
Air Combat Command has released the Aircraft Investigation Report on the May 13 F-16C crash near Ainsworth, Neb. The aircraft was from the 174th Fighter Squadron of the 185th Fighter Wing, Sioux City Air National Guard Base, Iowa.

Misawa F-16 pilot dies from injuries

First Lt. Brice Simpson, the pilot of the F-16 which crashed at Misawa nearly two months ago, died Sept. 17 as a result of the injuries sustained in the July 24 accident. Simpson, who was assigned to the 14th Fighter Squadron here, crashed while trying to take off on a routine training mission. He ejected from his aircraft during the incident. A memorial service for Simpson is scheduled for 4 p. m. Sept. 22 at the Misawa Air Base Chapel.
An Air Force Reserve Command F-16D crashed Sept. 12 at Avon Park Range, about 50 miles south of Orlando, killing the pilot, Capt. Thomas Carr.

Cannon F-16 crashes

A Cannon Air Force Base F-16 crashed at 09.13h CDT Sept. 1, 30 miles southwest of Fort Sumner, N. M. Maj. Kevin Frisbie, 523rd Fighter Squadron, ejected from the aircraft.
Air Combat Command released the Aircraft Accident Investigation Report on the March 23 F-16C gear collapse incident on the runway at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, Sept. 1. The aircraft was from the 4th Fighter Squadron.
Yesterday, at 9:05, at Misawa Air Port in Japan, an USAF F-16 caugt fire when it aborted a take off. It overran the end of the runway, made a 180 degrees turn and caught fire.
A 78th Fighter Squadron F-16 crashed July 22 12 miles off the coast of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Air Combat Command has released the Accident Investigation Boardreport on an incident involving a 20mm F-16 bullet that struck an Air Force civilian September 11, 1997, near Grand Bay Weapons Range in Georgia.
The U.S. Air Force's Air Combat Command has released the Aircraft Accident Investigation Report on the Jan. 8 crash of an F-16 from Hill Air Force Base, Utah, in the Utah Test and Training Range.
An Iowa Air National Guard F-16 aircraft assigned to the 185th Fighter Wing, Sioux City, Iowa, crashed at 10:30 a.m. in northeast Nebraska today.

The pilot of an F-16C fighter was killed April 22 at 8:30 p.m. when his aircraft crashed at a bombing range 15 miles west of Carrizozo, N.M.

Pilot dies in F-16C crash in New Mexico

A New Mexico Air National Guard F-16C fighter plane crashed into rugged terrain during a training mission, killing the pilot. Two other pilots flying in the same training exercise Wednesday night saw the crash and a fireball.
