Engine failure caused Cannon F-16 crash
Investigators have determined engine failure led to an F-16 crash on the Melrose Bombing Range in New Mexico March 21. The aircraft (#87-0330), assigned to the 27th Fighter Wing at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M., was destroyed. The pilot experienced minor injuries after ejecting from the aircraft....

Further F-16 offers for Hungary
Belgium has joined the growing list of countries willing to lease fighter aircraft to Hungary, offering 18 F-16s that need to be overhauled. A Belgian delegation is due in Budapest this week to offer the planes, which it would upgrade beforehand.
A reported fifth offer from Israel was denied by the Hungarian Defense Ministry, although the Israeli Defense Ministry?s Middle East Newsline website said the offer had been made and that Hungarian officials had already viewed the aircraft. ...
