Inadvertent Jettison of an F-16D Canopy

January 20, 2004 (by MrFalconFixer) - On January 16 the 62FS at Luke AFB, AZ experienced the inadvertent jettison of an F-16D canopy. The aircraft involved was #83-1184, block 25D. The canopy contacted the vertical tail during the event, but there were no injuries to ground personnel. No other details are available at this time.
