ANG F-16 crashes, pilot safely ejects

An Indiana Air National Guard F-16 from the 181st Fighter Wing, crashed Nov. 17 at 2:40 p.m. in a remote area of the Jefferson Proving Ground near Madison, Indiana.
First Lieutenant Christopher Snider safely ejected and sustained no injuries. Snider was on a training mission with three other F-16s from the Terra Haute, Ind., unit. The aircraft were carrying training munitions.
The JPG is one of two air-to-ground Air National ranges in Indiana. The other is located at Camp Atterbury near Edinburgh.
An accident investigation team is en route to the crash site.
