Curtiss-Wright Corp. announced today that the US Departement of Defense has awarded its subsidiary Curtiss-Wright Controls a contract to supply leading edge flap actuators for the F-16.
The new actuators will replace the actuation equipment on existing
US Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcons.
The initial order is worth $9.8 million, although the total contract could reach a maximum value of $49.25 million over five years. Deliveries are scheduled for 2003 and 2004.
