The Belgian government recently approved the new investment plan regarding the F-16.
The investment plan is as follows:
- ACMI pods 379 million BEF, delivery 2001
- Installation of data link systems836 million BEF, delivery in 2001
- Modification of the under wing pylons 209 million BEF, delivery in 2002
- Acquisition of precision bombs. 506 million BEF, delivery in 2002
- LANTIRN pods291 million BEF, delivery in 2001
- Laser guidance kits GBU-24158 million BEF, delivery in 2001
- modernisation of F-16 flight simulators1. 078 million BEF, delivery in 2002
