A Greek Air Force F-16 fighter plane crashed on Tuesday in the Aegean Sea during a routine training mission and the pilot is missing.
The single-seat jet crashed in the eastern Aegean near Agios Efstratios island and rescue helicopters spotted an oil slick in the water.
Navy ships, helicopters and coastguard vessels are searching for the pilot. The cause of the crash is still unknown.
