An F-16D Fighting Falcon assigned to the 56th Fighter Wing made an emergency landing at Wickenburg municipal airport at approximately 10.30h on October 22nd after losing engine power.

FS landed short of the runway, but the crew of 2 pilots was able to exit the aircraft safely.
First responders were on the scene. An investigation by Air Force officials will be conducted to determine the cause of the incident.
