The companies will work together to build components for the F-35 fuselage, vertical and horizontal tails and wing tips. All are part of the North West Aerospace Alliance (NWAA)—an £8m Aerospace Supply Chain Excellence (ASCE) program which helps companies win new contracts.

The contract could be worth in excess of £250m and span ten years.
