More than 10, 000missiles have been produced for U.S. and international customers. The award includes a $168. 2 million firm-fixed price contract for Lot 12(12th annual) production of 554 AMRAAMs, which supports missile deliveries, program engineering and logistic services through July 2000 to the U.S. Air Force and Navy as well as Foreign Military Sales to Italy
. It also includes options for annual purchases of Lots 13 through 15.
Concurrently, Raytheon also has received contracts totaling $75 million for 259 missiles for Department of Defense-administered direct commercial sales to three allied countries.
