Florennes based N° 1 "Stingers" Squadron has deployed on October 29th to the Eastern Romanian airbase Mihail Kogalniceanu, near Constanza (Black Sea) for an exercise period of two weeks from 30th October - 8 November.
BAF F-16AM #FA-107 & #FA-120 from 1 Sqn fly in formation
This exercise is the first deployment of Belgian Air Component F-16 fighters to Romania since it joined
NATO in match 2004.
The "Stinger" pilots will train alongside the Romanian upgraded MiG-21 Lancer fighters based at Fetesti.
