TuAF F-16D Block 50 crashes on landing - Aircrew safe

July 13, 2007 (by Lieven Dewitte) - On July 12th at 22:45h, a Turkish F-16D Block 50 crashed while it was trying to land at Balikesir Air Base (9nci AJÜ). Both crew safely ejected.

The aircraft has now been identified as F-16D #94-0107 of 191 Filo.
