F-22A Raptor modifications finished early at Hill AFB

May 18, 2006 (by Jeff Hollenbeck) - Assembled officials held a ceremony to celebrate the completion of modifications made to the first F-22A Raptor by the technicians at Hill AFB in Utah.

The first F-22A Raptor to be modified by the technicians at Hill AFB in Utah was finished ahead of schedule.

The F-22 arrived on March 31, 2006 for modifications to several systems including the lighting for the in-flight refueling system to allow easier visibility during night operations.

Governor Will Huntsman of Utah was present at the ceremony on May 12, 2006 along with representatives from Lockheed Martin and the United States Air Force.
