In a friendly encounter 4 F-16B's of the Kleine Brogel based Operational Conversion Unit (OCU) headed for Caslav AFB in the Czech Republic on 12 October to practice Dissimilar Air Combat Tactics (DACT).
On both 12 and 16 October missions were flown against the brand new Czech Air Force Saab JAS-39C Gripen and the more familiar Aero L-159 ALCA.
The Belgian F-16's were manned by an instructor pilot and a trainee -pilot each and the DACT missions flown are part of the regular OCU training syllabus.
