Lockheed Martin won a $125 million contract to provide more aircraft engines to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for its F-16-based F-2 fighter.
The
F-2 program is farming out $125 million worth of engine components to Lockheed, which already manufactures the plane's aft fuselage parts, leading-edge flaps and a variety of other components, avionics and support equipment.
