2 U.S. F-16s crash in Utah

October 25, 2002 (by Lieven Dewitte) - Two F-16s from the 388th Fighter Wing crashed in the Utah Test and Training Range at approximately 2:45 p.m. local time Friday.

One pilot is reported to be "OK" and that another pilot's condition is unknown.

The training range is in the northwest part of Utah bordering Nevada.

The fighters were based at Hill Air Force Base near Ogden, Utah.
