Personnel from the 107th Fighter Squadron based at Selfridge Air National Guard Base in Harrison Township will depart for a tour of duty overseas in support of the U.S. military operations in southwest Asia.
USAF F-16C block 30 #86-0221 from the 107th FS spotted on a nightly tarmac at Selfridge ANGB on February 27th, 2004 ready for deployment to an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia.
Approximately 200 aviators, aircraft maintenance and support personnel for the F16 Fighting Falcon will leave Friday.
The 107th Fighter Squadron has been flying the F-16 since 1989.
