A Friend Always

Not a day has gone by that I have not thought of my dear friend John Joss. Many years had passed since we had been inseparable, but I always knew the frienship was there and was looking forward to someday picking up where we left off. Life had taken us differnt directions and did not allow us to see each other very much. You just do not realize the impact the loss of a true friend can be until it is gone. I have the assurance that someday I wiill have the joy of seeing my dear friend and brother in Christ, John Joss again. Thanks for the good memories to hold on to until we meet again.

John Wayne Joss Jr. has been an inspiration to this day, and forever will be to me. He proved to me what a great man, amongst ordinary men, can be.

John has been a true and loyal heartfelt friend. My sincere condolences to his family and anyone fortunate enough to have shared time with John.

It is almost two years now scince he has passed on and i still find myself wondering what life would be like if John Joss was still here. I am happy that he can be with the lord but wish i could have him here with me. He was more than just a dad he was my best friend to me and i felt like i could always count on him.

Thank you for caring so much.

When I was stationed at Hahn, I also knew of John Joss, and later on when I was in the Air Guard, training another young Airman fresh from tech school, I recieved a phone call from John asking me if I remembered him, we talked awhile about the old times at the zoo. He told me about training the next generation of new recruits and how he missed the people that meet at all the different locations he had been at. He was a good man, and will be missed.

Yes it is the Same John Joss. From the zoo. I was lookin g through this and spotted this. John was crazy but he was a good person. He was not a close friend but He was family.I remember all the people from the gulf war. I was never closer to group of people. About a year was when I found this. It took that long for me to talk about it. when an individual from this group is suddenly gone. It is very traumatic to all who knew him. One thing about John was he could always make you laugh. It surprised me how much his passing affected me.In many ways it was worse than a death in my Blood family. peace. Wierd Al

Yes it is the same John that made us all laugh. Usually at something he was doing. After we moved from base to base we would always talk about all the people that we got to know there and the great times we had. Kathy
