2 !!!
I'm sick and tired of all this "Politically Correct" Bravo Sierra . It's a COCKPIT - get over it. For my opinion on the subject, refer to the next to last track on Dos Gringos' debut album "Live at the Sand Trap" - it's the last one listed and just before the hidden track "HLTC" or check out "You've Gotta be in the Guard" on "2"
To quote Dos Gringos:
Dos Gringos wrote:
She said she was offended
That only made us smile
Cause deep down we knew she loved it
And she was only in denial
Keep up the good work guys ! |

Some folks never want to hold on to history, so what the female aircrew might or could have called it was....the playpen but I am sure that would not fly either |

| Hey, if anybody has a problem with you saying something "old school" that has been deemed offensive nowadays, you could tell them- "We are about heritage in the USAF these days, have you seen the new uniforms? The chief of staff (USAF) wants everybody to remember where we came from years ago, heritage to horizon is the new catch phrase." |

| Yup. Along with "blue ball". When I was in the 67th at Kadena, the callsigns while deployed were cock 1,2,3,4 and so on for flightline drivers. While at tyndall one year some higher up somewhere said that he/she was offended so we were to no longer use cock as our callsigns. Just as now days our pilots are not allowed to have their call signs next to their names on our jets due to the MXG CC deeming one callsign as "promoting the alchohol culture". Rubbish. |

Our second in command in the 9th was Lt. Col Andy Papp. we put his callsign on the canopy.
Lt. Col. Andy "Smear" Papp. Women at airshows never saw the humor. |

| I am sure they did not. here is one (no kidding) we had a Col (Wing King) at the Heath (94 - 95 timeframe) just before I left, his name was on the sign as you entered the base. His name was Col Richard Head, tell me "Dick Head" didn't take heat his whole damn life, that one always made me laugh and I liked the guy but that always killed us all. If I was him, I don't know how I could have handled that....damn good though, no one ever brought it up to his face but you know it was talked about even in Ops. |

Our AGS CC at Hahn was a Major who happened to be a woman and her last name was Fox.
Therefore....
Our Commander was a Major Fox.
But we really called her "Major Mom" and she liked that.
After we all weathered a difficult time, she threw us a Dining In that is still legendary. I'd Love to tell you about it, but it was a Dining In.
BTW:
Has anyone been to a Dining In lately?????? |
