Oh Yeah! A good friend of mine, looked into this. COL Haynes, you guys remember him. Hes got a position at the pentagon, with the Guard. You remember them! Our pilots who couldnt make rank at Richmond, got a post at the beaure for awhile. If our 16,eents wert good enough to fly for the next 20 years, then why were the DC, Texas,Iowa, Ang"s so happy to get their hands on them. The KC 135, and B 52, have been around, alot longer then our 16"s. True, a fighter has a much greater airframe stress then a bomber or tanker. Or does this effect come from generals, in the uper chain of command, who only flew fighters. The 141 is retired, WHY! Its not as old as, say a C [Link pending approval] C 17, is as smouth a ride, as any transport. The C 130, durable, reliable,SLOW. F 15s, are still around. The Air Force loved that platform so much, they turned it into a two seat bomber. Yes my friends, the Air Force, that I truly love, is made up, of Fighter aircraft generals, who love their fighter boys. Hate to see that beloved F 22 fly into the sea, when theres no longer a tanker to support them. Even you check, cant fly without FUEL. Shake one of those guys, who drives the ugly green tanker trucks next time. You might have everything else,
your maps, your weather reports, your crew cheif. But until you got your gas! Walk over to the BX and enjoy a cigeratte! |

[Link pending approval] Oh yeah, check, bring your buddies over to this site. See how ya do, in ww 2 airplanes. Salute! 23. you will know who I am if you get into this game, and decide to fly. Theres a free two week trial period. Fly U S, or Great Britain, I really love shooting those guys down. The 23, comes from LUFT23_Banjoz. If you have time to play on flight sims. Which I hardly ever have time to, since my comute to Langley, so you can fly the f 22. Make it a sport, give up some weekend time, since, thats the only time NOW! That i have to spend with my family. You see, now, I have to get up at 4am, be out the door, by 4 30am, to catch the ride finder van at 0 5 15. Then work a ten hour day, catch the van back to Richmond, hope theirs no accident on 64, and make it home by 1800. If the roads are clear.
I know it sounds like I am whining. I know my fellow armed services members in Iraq, and Afghanistan, are doing far worse then I am. God Bless them. I do get on bended knee every night, and ask the Lord, my God, for their safe return. Then again now, I also get on my bended knee, for my safe return. If you are a Guard pilot, AND WANTED RICHMOND TO CLOSE,and I get killed in an accident, on 64. My wife and children wont like you very much. I hope you enjoy your f22 ride. I hope you get enough time in. If Delta, United, U S Air, or Northwest, permits you to fly. I also heard, thats why we didn't get deployed during the first go around of the Iraq war. Northwest said that any of its pilots, who got the anthrax shots, would be fired.
Seems to be, a mixed bag of loyalty, and a 100,000 dollar per year job. Flying the f 22 seems to be safe. Its what, a 132 million A/C. I don't hear about them flying over Iraq. You should be safe, as long as a hornet doesn't fly from Oceania!

| I am a weapons loader in Ohio and I am thinking about transferring to the 192nd. Whatcha think? Good move? I am getting mixed signals from my base whether its a good idea or not to transfer to this unit or to move to another 16 unit. I am very excited about the idea of working on 22s! |
