No, its not, I would have to agree with you big time on that one. I have known far too many of those folks and they all hated it, the smell, the work itself...you name it, they hated it.

Sorry but we sure need those skills....

Although it has no AFSC, I would say the best job by far is Drug-Test Urinalysis Observer.

What about us engine troops, if it wasnt for us, the 16's wouldnt even get off the ground. They would just be very expensive paper weights. Very Happy

Aircrew Lifesupport is definately a kickass job! It's in the OPS building, so you work with the pilots everyday...plus, you get to work on stuff like the $100,000 AIM-9X compatible helmets. Not to mention regular refresher flights with the pilots...

Ok ...this thread is getting gay.
Everyone knows the best job is the job that you can carry into the civilian world.

Oh and for the Lifesupport guy ...100k is not much to hold for any guy working out on the line. And who the hell wants to be hanging around the stick jockeys?

Good thing we or the USAF needs you all.......each has value, I want to win the lottery so I can just sit on a boat, pay no bills and drink until some hot chick wakes me to give me another beer Smile
