They disappear every now and then... they use the plugs on these jets.

It doen't do any damage since the fan and low-pressure turbine is free floating. You got enough lube in your 1,2, and 5 bearing sumps. If it did do damage, I would have gotten in trouble a long time ago playing with the fan. Very Happy

Not a problem, the residual oil keeps the bearings lubricated. Carrier aircraft engines sometimes rotate so fast that the fan speed appears on the display.
