Hi all,

I would say that the 3 aircraft in this video are reasonably low...

Kind Regards,

Hi Ryan,

I am sorry you are unable to view the video I posted a link to. I checked it before posting and it worked for me. Perhaps if you log onto the web page I found it at;

http://www.alexisparkinn.com/aviation_videos.htm

If you look under the MILITARY section the video I had posted the link to is about half way down the page and is called 'Low Flying! More fantastic high speed, high performance low-level flying. You won't believe how low that third guy gets!'

This is a great video clip but there are other equally great ones else ware on the page (check out Supersonic Fly-By!).

I hope this helps.

Kind Regards,

Sean

If this didn't work, just cut and paste. Was looking at the other videos at that site and saw this.
Dead stick F-16 landing from HUD video.
Who was it here that said you can't glide a 16?

Ryan,

That picture is fake, or the pilot is really ignorant about the F-104, which I seriously doubt.

The aircraft is not in burner so it’s not a take off shot as the burner nozzle is fully dilated. The boards are out and he has his landing flaps down.

NFW... Smile

Was that just before someone photo shopped the gear? Look at the horizontal stabilizer angle and note that none of the background is blurred. WTF

Anyway... Sorry to drag Mr. Reality into the equation...

Not real familar with Rooskie engines, but it looks like the turkey feathers are showing somewhere near idle power as well. I think JR hit the nail on the head.

The only thing that I can see that would make me thing the rusky photo was PS would be the lack of heat blur behind the exhaust. With high shutter speed, and good film, one could get a photo that clear of a fast mover. But not without the exhaust blur.

Guys, sorry to spoil your conspiracy theory! here is another photo from the opposite side where you can see clearly the exhaust heat.
You can find the hi-res version here: http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=1027487
