The UFC Data Control Switch is universally referred to as the "Dobber Switch". ( I saw a pilot write it up as the Doppler switch the other day. Quite a chuckle)

The side stick expand/field of view switch is called the "pinky switch".

The stores release button is called the "pickle button".

No, but I have heard some call it the "spider handle".

Speed brakes are called "Boards", Canopy lock handle is the"Spider handle".

My favorite one is the CREW CHIEF FIX ALL or THE SWING WRENCH. All terms for the hammer.

False targets emitted by the FCR is, apparently, known is <b>"spooge"</b> by pilots...the Roach Coach we call the <b>"Fat Boy Truck"</b>...our expeditors call fireguards <b>"Crew Chief Supervisors"</b>...i haven't been called a pointy head since tech school, but <b>spec</b> is a common name for avionics folks here...

oh and fridays are known as <b>"F*ck You Fridays"</b> by swing shifters, while the same day of the week is known as <b>"F*ck Off Fridays"</b> by day shifters...hmm...<b>step van</b>, <b>bread truck</b>, <b>short bus</b>, etc.
