Good Luck, Air Force Olympians!: Two airmen are participating in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, according to Air Force Personnel Center officials. Capt. Seth Kelsey, a supply officer with Air Force Reserve Command's 310th Force Support Squadron at Buckley AFB, Colo., will compete in men's individual epee fencing. Kelsey starts his medal quest on Aug. 1 when he faces China's Li Guojie, according to the official summer games website. Meanwhile, Capt. Justin Dumais, an F-16 pilot with the South Carolina Air National Guard's 157th Fighter Squadron at McEntire Joint National Guard Base, qualified as an alternate in the men's three-meter synchronized springboard diving event, according to AFPC. That competition is scheduled for Aug. 1, with Dumais' younger brother Troy a member of the US duo in that event. Kelsey, the Air Force's top male athlete of 2011, is making his third Olympic appearance after participating in the 2004 and 2008 games. Dumais took sixth place in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens in the men's three-meter synchronized springboard competition. (JBSA-Randolph report by TSgt. Steve Grever) (Follow the other US military Olympians at the Pentagon's special website.)

From the Air Force Association Daily E-mail. Many of the 157th FS pilots are at Kandahar, but I doubt any would begrudge Capt. Dumais this once-in-a-lifetime chance. Swampfox!
