I picked F-22 because the pilot in me wants to do all of those cool airshow manuevers. The F-35B is a very close second though...

Many pilots that have flown both the F-15 and F-16 prefer the latter. Wink

I'd go with the F-35. As previously mentioned, just look at the life of a Raptor guy. No combat, just casting shadows on the ramp. After Day 1 of the war, the fighting will fall to the air-to-mud movers who have the ability to protect themselves. After Day 14, the F-22s will be sitting on the ramp because they'll have no mission and the war will become almost exclusively an A/G war. (If they're not on the ramp then they'll just be spinning in a CAP for hours at a time.) You pick what life you want . . .
