Thanks TC  , so Blue Vixen equipped SHARS feeding data to other platforms to build a better air picture I guess.
Don`t worry about not knowing the Harrier, not met a person yet who knows EVERY aircraft type, and if the y exist, they better be getting paid or need to get out more
Spot on, the SHARS radome is the giveaway for Blue Vixen.
This guy Art Nalis is a lucky lad having his own fighter jet to play with, although his website claim that he is the only pilot to dead stick a Harrier to a landing is not true, it`s been done by a few more unlucky, but obviously highly skilled pilots, so my hat off to him. The Harrier glides like a brick and may be the reason why it doesn't have a ram air turbine for emergency power. Some early models had it, then it was removed. |

I probably do need to get out more, but I feel that I'm FAR from being an expert! 
I don't want to be the guy to try and dead stick a Harrier into a landing. If the Pegasus goes out on me, I just want to make sure that the canopy explodes when I pull handles! |
