Can't see "door 3308" being closed with my monitor, dark for some reason. It's not a "panel". And not all F-16s have LOX, some have OBOG's.
Best regards, |

Can't see it closed, but if it was open you would see it hanging down...these jets do not have OBOGS. No matter what they have, you still have to pull it out to disconnect the rate gyros.

This is a much newer model as Joe says but I think it's the same door.

Tough crowd, wow. BTW, that is an OBOGS concentrator and not a LOX bottle behind door 3308 on that jet in the picture, Israeli Viper no doubt.
One of these days I'll post a picture of me and the shop guys testing BF-3 landing gear, I can't wait to read the comments on that one LOL. |

Chemix, post a pic of the left side of the a/c so jokes81 can see how many kills your wrongly fixed F-16 has!
Sorry, no real kills for IDF C and D-models. All the kills go to the old birds.....
UAV's don't count. |

Access Pnls 2202 & 2204 Should be open and FLCS PWR BRANCH A,B,C and D Curcuit breakers should be pulled
We only open the access panel that you see in the pic (don't remember his number) and pull up the angel of attack L&R, prob heat and 2 othe circuit breakers.
You don't open the LOX bay door, 3308 for the Air Data Probe heater C/B? After all, it is a Block 40.

You guys are ruthless to say the least!!! This poor guy shares some pictures, as a newbie who seems to be just joining this site, and all you guys can do is find fault in his photo's. Yeah there is alot wrong in them with the ops being done, but I don't think he meant to get his balls busted for them. Find out who the jackass is thats running the ops then rip his a$$!!!!! To Chemix- thanks for posting some photo's of you and the Viper!!!! Now rip that guys a$$ for putting you in a bad spot!!!! Oh, to all you experts out there.... lighten the hell up, really!!! |

Come on dude, seriously??? It can get a lot worse on the flight line. Anyone who's ever been a flight line maintainer has been exposed to a lot harsher ribbings. The replies to the maintenance surrounding the pictures posted were valid and in no way "ruthless". I would think a maintainer could handle such responses, else if your skin is that thin, you ought to find another career field.
Personally, I like the shared photos posted, as well as the responses that followed.

I'm defending the fact that this guy only posted pics as a newbie... not to get drilled by all the "Experts" on here!!! Brotha... I got 25 plus years working these and F22's... trust me flightline maintenance is alot more brutle your right I did my time, 16 yrs wrenching 3 expiditing one flt chiefing... Im doing the depot thing and it's just as bad, try dealing with guys that have NO flightline experience and claim to know Everything!!!! Oh, and if I WAS to walk up on this situation in a TABVEE or HAS I'd been dead in his a$$ as well as the yahoo running ground!!!!! Thats a fact!!!

Agreed! And one other observation, Paul W, not every photo posted here is USAF so I would not expect all the other 23 F-16 countries to follow USAF ops yet they still manage to fly and fight.
