Is the canopy/windshield hinged from the front like the original MiG-21's canopy? Or is that just a maintenance position like the A-10's windshield?
In my humble opinion the F-35 would be a lot nicer-looking if they'd do something different with the vertical tails. Seems to me they could make them more aesthetically pleasing while maintaining their stealth capabilities. As they are now, they're just plain ugly.
