Nah, I think the pro`s would instantly smell a rat. No contrast or hotspots on that B-2, it`s as if the bird has been in a refrigerator for a while! It was well publicized at the time.

I suppose you would have to know what context in the sales presentation this image was used in regards to Typhoons sensor package...The Tiffie` DOES have optical trackers. I had a link to the presentation, not trawled through it yet.

It amuses me the desperate efforts of Eurocraptor fans to convince people that in some "future" tranche this plane will have this and that...their delusion had gone so far that they actually believe that this ugly object could be a fighter some day... LMAO

You act as if you (UK) is doing the US a favor by standing by us in Iraq. Are you not there to help your country as well?

We are there to help our own country as well (I was actually more referring to Afghanistan) however I am getting growingly annoyed after some recent personal experiences. Americans I have met visiting the UK last month took the p*** out of the UK's contribution to both fronts mocking the military and what they were doing I quote "toy soldiers". When I see that lack of respect for allies fighting and dieing alongside their own country at war especially when the UK and Canadians are in the hottest zones in Afganistan it makes me extremely angry. That lack of respect does move me to the train of thought of "why are we there" when our allies think our operation is a joke.

So you apply the thoughts of the few and dimwitted minority to the rest of the folks from the states. I've heard some interesting comments from Brits since I have been over here but I write them off as the minority and don't hold it against my fellow allies.

Yup, contracts were signed and software integration has been done. The RAF will go full multi-role by the middle of next year with the Typhoon. I got that from the RAF website, with deployment in Afghanistan the main aim. The RAF say they will be ready.
